Rania Assily

History Instructor

Rania Assily has developed and taught numerous college history courses since 2006 all over Northeast Ohio. She has her Masters degree from Cleveland State University and is a tenured professor at Cuyahoga Community College. Ms. Assily has done numerous community presentations including showcasing the first documentary on the history of Arab Americans now featured on PBS to Cleveland, as well as interviewing historical actors who played Frederick Douglass, Thomas Jefferson, and Abe Lincoln. She serves on the Board of her alma mater, Elyria Catholic High School and the Lorain County Children Services. Her passion is to reach hearts and minds through historical narrative and to watch kids of all backgrounds get excited about history.
