Steps For Success

Step 1: Start Your Course!

All Pallas courses are designed to make the topic easy to cover. Each course has 10-15 modules with 3-5 lessons per module. Each module should take about a week to complete. Our courses are self-paced. So if your student is very motivated, these courses are something they can work through more quickly.

Step 2: Listen Along

Does your student prefer listening to reading? All of our courses have built in podcast audios of the lesson content!

Step 3: Fact Check

One of the biggest challenges facing students in the study of current modern history is knowing where information comes from and how it is related. That is why all of our courses have links to the sources we used to create the course. Want to do more indepth study? Wonderful! Use the links in the course to study out that lesson or module in depth! 

Step 4: Take The Quiz

At Pallas, we know it’s important for students to develop test-taking skills and to discover how much information they are retaining. That is why auto-grading quizzes are part of every module! 

Step 5: Capstone Essay

At the end of every course is the Captstone Essay. Your student will write an essay on a course related topic to work out what they have learned and how it relates to different areas of life. An easy to follow rubric is included to make parent-grading very straight forward!

Step 6: Celebrate a Job Well Done

Great job! You Did It! Celebrate the fact that you took a deep-dive into one of the difficult events or time periods in modern history. Well done!
